About

Music has been Michael's first love since he began singing and playing the guitar at 9 years old. He was in a working band  by the time he was a young teen.  His music journey has taken him down many paths, including the lead singer and guitarist in general business bands, rock bands, heavy metal bands, then into liturgical music, Christian praise & worship, folk instrumentals, and full circle to his love of country music.

Michael was also the music teacher at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Academy in Central Falls, RI.  He was a Liturgical Music Director for 29 years, both in the Providence and Fall River diocese. That position ended unexpectedly during covid quarantines, as he was also focusing on his new career in real estate. But he freelances, playing at various parishes and performing praise & worship.

Michael is presently collaborating with his wife on a collection of folk/instrumental recordings, which will be part of a larger collection of New England themed music, art, and lore.

Three of Mike's adult children are also singers/musicians, and they have performed together as Clarkin Lane.
